Terry Albertson, The California Kid,
has been a DJ since 1983!
He started his career as a radio DJ on 
a popular local radio station KSXO 
(K60) in Redding California.  Before 
that, in 1982, his actual first DJ job was 
at the roller rink, Viking Skate Country, 
also in Redding.  The manager 
announced over the microphone, "The 
first person who can prove to me that 
they are 16 and wants to be a DJ, has 
the job."  Terry ran up, with his 
California Drivers Licence in hand and 
got the job!  He continued to work at 
Viking Skate Country until 2001.  

Terry has DJed thousands of events 
over the past 3 decades. To this day, 
many people will stop him on the road 
to share their memories of him through 
out the years.

In 1999, He met his wife, Candy, and 
they were married in 2002.  Terry has 
two young children, Cassidy and Ty and 
two step sons, Drake and Hayden.  
Both of Terry's step sons are often seen 
by his side at many of his DJing events. 
 And Ty and Cassidy will sometimes 
tag along to some of his long time 
customers' parties, where found 
appropriate.

Terry is the son of Jimbo Albertson, the 
locally famous Oldies Station Radio DJ.
